日内瓦

慕名寻访日内瓦，世界都会小山城。①
群峰为友湖做伴，世贸组织万国宫。②
杂色旌帜舞婆娑，各国文化展风情。
玉立岸上丽人影，曲颈水中天鹅鸣。
注：①瑞士日内瓦是国际化程度最高的城市，人口只有17万，位于西欧最大的湖泊——美丽的日内瓦（莱蒙）湖畔，法拉山和阿尔卑斯山近在眼前。
②瑞士2002年9月10日加入联合国，联合国除总部设在美国纽约外，其余办事机构多数设在日内瓦，世贸组织总部也设立于此。当年的“国联”也在这里诞生。
Geneva

By its reputation，I was attracted to the metropolis of Geneva，
A small world-renowned mountain town；
Lying at the foot of the Alps and beside the Le'mon Lake，
Geneva is the place where the WTO Headquarters lies，
And also erects the building of Palais Des Nations；
In front of which flags of different colours are fluttering，
But inside which customs of different countries are on display；
At the lake side standing gracefully are beautiful women，
But inside the lake I can see are happy swallows in swimming.

急流落差成天浪，白云翻滚震地龙。
巨石河中两砥柱，雾裙飘忽戏劲风。
鸟瞰深崖挟碧水，登船仰力冲浪勇。
壮哉莱茵大瀑布，自然造化神斧工。
The River Rhine Fall
July 25，2002
The elevation of torrents looks like a sheet of water pouring，
Down from the Heaven high，
Over head I see are rolling foams and water waves，
With dragon's sound thundering away；
In the middle of turbulent，stands still of two hugest ones，
Against the wind is drifting of ribbon-like waters pray；
Viewing down the deep gorge teamed with blue water running，
Bravely then I step onto the boat and make a surfing away；
Oh，what a magnificent scene，the River Rhine Fall！
And I do wonder how the Creator made such a magic scene！
The River Rhine Fall is located in the north of Switzerland.Forming as result of river course transition and glaciers，the River Rhine Fall is now the biggest fall in Europe，with the biggest elevation of 21 metres，and water flowing amount of 700 cubic metres per second.In the middle of the Fall，there is a small islet，which could be reached by surfing.
注：莱茵河瀑布位于瑞士北部沙夫豪森与苏黎世州交界的莱茵河上，瀑布最高处为150米，最大落差21米，深13米。夏季流量每秒700立方米，是欧洲最大的瀑布，已有一万五千年历史，是冰川活动和莱茵河改道所形成的壮丽景观。瀑布中间有一小岛和小山峰，可乘船冲浪到达。

The Olympics Headquarters
July 26，2002
Standing at the shore of the Le'mon Lake，
I found the Mt.Alp snow is dim and now bright；
As Olympics Headquarters lies in small town of Lausane，
I see fluttering in breeze are Five-Ringed Colourful Flags，
Also towering high into sky is the Olympic Sacred Fire；
Let's now turn our eyes to 2008，
And jointly pray for Beijing as a successful game host.
注：奥林匹克总部位于瑞士洛桑城。

山隐云后水渺渺，
远帆点点鳟鱼跃。
天鹅野鸭梳毛羽，
天人祥和乐陶陶。
The Lem'on Lake

Behind the sea of clouds
Are barely visible of the Alps standing afar，
But lying before me is clear lake water，boundless；
Like dots of water foam，the yachts there are sailing far，
With shadows in distance and trout skipping high；
Standing next to me on the shore
Are combing hair of those wild ducks and swans；
Oh，how harmonious scene I see is
The relationship between the Nature and our Men！

Liechtenstein

As a small brother-hood in the big family of all the world，
Liechtenstein lies beside the River Rhine And on a half slope of the Alps；
So small of the country she is that upon stretching feet，
She enters the territory of Austria，
When open arms，she embraces the country of Switzerland；
For business，people here rise at cockcrow
And then wave bye to their hometown，
But for living，they have to be back home before dark falls，
And with such a life，the 300 years passing by；
From the window of the Imperial Palace at a half slope，
I find the country's panoramic view dwarfs under my feet.
列支敦士登

世界家庭小伙伴，
莱茵河旁半山坡。
举足跨入奥地利，
张臂挽住瑞士国。
鸡鸣出境忙生计，
暮归家中过生活。
日出日落三百年，
王宫窗外看山河。
注：列支敦士登公国位于欧洲中部，介于瑞士和奥地利之间，面积160平方公里，人口约3万，是欧洲最小的国家，已有300年历史。列支敦士登没有城市，只有包括拥有4000人口的首都瓦杜兹在内的11个村庄。政府官员仅5名，警察52人。

古城沧桑六千年，①②
欧亚文明看两岸。
罗马帝国拜占廷，
霸主称雄奥斯曼。
山坡高耸清真寺，
海边雄立王宫殿。
斜拉大桥铁索长，
紧挽两洲南北边。
注：①土耳其伊斯坦布尔市联结欧亚两大洲，北边为欧洲，南边为亚洲。
②伊斯坦布尔是历史名城，有6300年的历史。这里曾是罗马帝国、拜占廷帝国和奥斯曼帝国的中心，是土耳其第一大城市，人口逾千万。
The City of Istanbul

How time brings great changes to the city of Istanbul in 6000 years，
Mulberry fields into seas；
Locating on either sides of the Bosporus，
And from where The Eurasian civilizations could be searched for；
Placing myself here，I can help recalling those brilliant empires That withered away.
The Roman Empire，the Byzantium，
And the later superpower of Ottoman，
How brilliant and how powerful of the Empires once to be
That all of them are now withered away！And never returns；
By ascending myself atop on the Bosporus Bridge，
I see on mountain slopes，the crescents of mosques tower into sky，
And accompanying it is the Emperor's Palace at seaside
Old yet is still magnificently lies.
How strong are those stayed cables of the Bridge of Bosporus！
From the north to the south，
Tightly they button up the Eurasian Continent on the two sides .
