Alexandre Dumas was a French writer. His works have been translated into many languages, and he is one of the most widely read French authors. Twenty Years After first serialized from January to August 1845. It is a sequel to The Three Musketeers and precedes The Vicomte de Bragelonne. The fantastic adventures of the Three Musketeers continue - starting with an intrigue surrounding D'Artagnan who has, for twenty years, remained a lieutenant.
